How to play Solitaire Klondike?
The Solitaire Klondike game is easy-to-play with simple rules that are convenient to memorize at the onset as well. The game is played with a 52-card deck, carrying 13 cards each of Spades, Clubs, Hearts, and Diamonds, arranged from King to Ace. Plus, two of these card types, comprising 26 cards in black and the remaining 2 sets made of 26 cards in red.
The cards are arranged on the tableau in 7 piles, with the first card of each pile placed face up and the remaining face down. On the top right are four spaces for foundation piles, which need to be created by sorting from these shuffled cards. The foundation cards must be arranged in ascension, from the Aces to the Kings of each.
The browser game screen also has a waste pile that has extra cards you can pull from to arrange the foundation piles. Here are the steps to take when playing Solitaire Klondike:
- Pick all the aces from the tableau and place them in the foundation piles.
- Reveal new cards and arrange them in ascending order on the tableau or directly into the foundation pile.
- You can move a series of cards at once from one pile on the tableau to another to reveal new cards.
- Pick cards from the waste pile to complete the foundation piles.
- The game ends once all four foundation piles are arranged.
